Ludovic Darmet started a postdoc in March 2024, collaborating under the joint mentorship of James Bonaiuto at the Decision, Action, and Neural Computation (DANC) lab—affiliated with the Institut des Sciences Cognitives Marc Jeannerod in Lyon—and Jérémie Mattout at the Computation, Cognition, and Neurophysiology (COPHY) lab, a part of the Lyon Neuroscience Research Center. He obtained an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Lille in 2017, specializing in Data Science and AI. Subsequently, he pursued his doctoral studies at GIPSA-lab, and obtained his PhD in December 2020. His research, supervised by Kai Wang and François Cayre, focused on image manipulation detection, namely image forensics. This work was funded by an ANR-DGA project overseen by Patrick Bas.
In March 2021, Ludovic transitioned to the Neuro-Ergonomics and Human-Factors department at ISAE-Supaero, where he undertook a two-year postdoctoral position. Working within the team of Frédéric Dehais, he worked on reactive Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) applications utilizing Visually Evoked Potentials and passive BCI technologies.
Currently, his primary focus lies in the implementation of an online, real-time pipeline for a Motor Imagery-based BCI, utilizing beta bursts.
