Sébastien Kirchherr graduated with a MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Strasbourg in 2016. During the course of his masters degree he studied the impact of drug consumption on visual contrast sensitivity with Dr Laurence Lalanne-Tongio. He then participated in the establishment of a mouse model of protracted abstinence to morphine addiction with Dr Brigitte Kieffer at McGill University in Montreal. After returning to France, he has been involved with the Cosinus project for the evaluation of one of the two first injection facilities site for drug users in France.
