I am a specialist in Developmental Cognitive Sciences and a researcher at CNRS since 2015, where I created and direct the Babylab, Baby-Lyon. I received my PhD from SISSA (Italy) before being a post-doc at Harvard University and Ecole Normale Superieure (Paris). My research focuses on the developmental origins of human cognitive abilities like language and logic.

I am a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience, with a M.Sc. Psychology. After my Ph.D. (2010, SISSA Trieste), I joined the Department of Psychology at Harvard University as a Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellow (2011-2013). I completed the postdoctoral research training at CIMeC, University of Trento (2013-2014). In 2015, I joined the CBC at University Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona funded by a Marie Curie Cofund program grant. Since February 2016, I am tenured researcher at the ISC of CNRS, and Principle Investigator of the research program “THEMPO” funded by an European Research Council Starting Grant.

I have a M.Sc. degree in Neurosciences and Behavioral Sciences (IBFA, University of Caen) and B.Sc. degrees in Information Technology and Computer Science (EPSI, Montpellier) and in Psychology and Neuropsychology (University of Montpellier). I am now a Ph.D student doing behavioral and fMRI research on the processing of human-human and human-object interaction

I have a M.Sc. degree in Cognitive Sciences - Neuropsychology and clinical neurosciences (2019, Université Lumiere Lyon 2) and a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and informatics applied to Cognitive Sciences (2017,  Université Lumiere Lyon 2). I am now a PhD student under the supervision of Jean-Rémy Hochmann ( co-director Marie-Maude Geoffray). I study the mechanism of early visual attention in Autism. My approach combines developmental, behavioral and eye-tracking data.

Nicolas Goupil (PhD Student)
email: goupilnicolas1@gmail.com

I have a M.Sc. degree in Cognitive Sciences (2018, Université Lyon 2) and a B.Sc. degree in Psychology (2016, Université Rennes 2). Actually undertaking a PhD under the supervision of Liuba Papeo (co-director Jean-Rémy Hochmann), I study the mechanisms of spatial relation perception in the frame of body dyads, that is how do we see two persons facing each other. My approach combines developmental researches on infancy using eye-tracking, behavioral and electro-encephalographic studies in adults.

Sofie Vettori (Post-doc)
email: sofievettori@gmail.com

I am a postdoctoral research fellow with a Msc in psychology (Ghent University) and a PhD in neurosciences (KU Leuven). With my projects, I try to understand how our visual system is specialized to process social information such as faces, bodies and objects, and how this information is further used in social cognition. I am particularly interested in how these aspects change over time (development) and how it differs between people (e.g. in autism). In my research I use behavioral tasks, electro-encephalography, eye tracking and functional imaging.
