Neuroplasticity in Parkinson's disease
(PI: Véronique Sgambato)
Our research aims at developing new symptomatic treatments for disorders of basal ganglia origin, particularly Parkinson’s disease (PD). We develop /improve PD models for translational research. We investigate, at both preclinical and clinical levels, maladaptive neuroplasticity associated with prodromal and iatrogenic phases of PD. We do so at multiple levels and with multiple methodologies. We expect to better understand the pathological mechanisms associated with motor and non-motor (particularly cognitive and psychiatric) deficits as well as motor and non-motor fluctuations. The project is developed at both preclinical and clinical levels.
It is time to participate to our clinical study if you wish! See below for details
