nicolas franck

Nicolas Franck est Professeur des Universités - Praticien Hospitalier en psychiatrie au Centre hospitalier universitaire de Lyon. Il exerce des fonctions d'enseignement à l'Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, des fonctions cliniques à l'hôpital du Vinatier à Bron et une activité de recherche à l'Institut des Sciences Cognitives dans l'équipe Psychopathologie de l'intention. Il s'intéresse aux relations entre les symptômes psychotiques et les anomalies cérébrales organiques et fonctionnelles mises en évidence chez les patients schizophrènes. L'enregistrement des variables comportementales et des marqueurs de l'activité cérébrales des patients placés dans des situations expérimentales spécifiques permet l'acquisition de résultats qui sont interprétés en fonction de la symptomatologie des patients. L'objectif est de modéliser les dysfonctions cognitives susceptibles de favoriser l'apparition des symptômes.
